Headmaster, Nick Seward, will be visiting the USA at the beginning of December, and as part of his trip would be very interested to meet any KHS former pupils who live in the States. He will be in the Washington DC area as well as Boston, Massachusetts during the course of his stay, before flying north to Woodstock, Ontario in Canada for the Havelock Farm reunion. If you would like to attend the alumni gathering, which will take place near Washington DC, or arrange a individual meeting, please do get in touch with Harriet Atkinson.
The 1st XV rugby season starts on Wednesday 11 September with the first fixture at home to Sibford. Kick off is at 2:30pm - if you are free and in the area, please come along to cheer on the team! Bacon rolls will be served. For more details or to RSVP please contact Harriet Atkinson.
Places are still available for lunch on Sunday 13th January. Shake off the January blues by joining friends old and new on the Hill to celebrate the spirit of Plymouth House over the last 120 years!
We have a number of 20th anniversary Severn hoodies for sale at £30 each. Seen here modelled by Lucy Kelly (KHS 1996-2001), they were produced as part of the 20th anniversary celebration of girls at Kingham Hill, which took place shortly before the death of Julie 'Stoddie' Stodart-Cook, Houseparent of Severn, earlier this year. On the back of the top is Stoddie's catch phrase "...get a wriggle on...".
Richard 'Cookie' Cook, is selling the hoodies for £30 each (£27 each with a £3 donation to Winston's Wish, Stoddie's charity) + postage and packaging. To order yours today, please contact Harriet Atkinson.
On Sunday 2nd June, a group of KHS Old Boys who live in the East Anglia region met for a lunch reunion at the White Horse Inn in Whepstead. It was a wonderful opportunity for members of the Kingham Hill community to come together, renew acquaintes and form new friendships over a pint of Suffolk ale and some excellent food.
