In all 9 of us were there, Ralph and Elizabeth Mann, Nick and June Bonnett, Charles Carter (the nipper of the bunch), Iain Helstrip, who organised the event, and wife Nicky, 'Wingco' Nick Thompson, and Pete 'Not Townsend' Rozycki.
A good choice of venue by Iain and with a very friendly landlady, the Oxfordshire countryside also as gorgeous as ever, the Oxfordshire stone mellowed by recent rain and plenty of sun. Conversation was relaxed and although the menu was actually good and not at horrendous 'Chipping Norton Set' gastropub prices, it was surprising how many of us still went for cod and chips which was excellent. Iain thankfully spared us a Dixie Dean KH surprise semolina dessert.
Although some had travelled some distance to attend, the reunion is proving popular and we were glad Ralph and Elizabeth were able to come, Ralph's memory is amazingly acute about our collective time at the school which can only be a historian thing. We hope it will attract new interest for next year.
