The school community has come together and we have had a big day with own clothes, a poverty lunch and donut sales. More recently we “swam the channel” overnight here. Each of these raised over £1,000. Underpinning these we have been encouraging people to bring in their unwanted coppers – this is where the name came from – and this has made a significant contribution to the cause.
We are so grateful to all those who have been involved in some way, either helping with an event or donating to the cause; we have been so encouraged with the support from the KHS community.
