1. Expenditure from 01/01/2012 to 24/05/2012 was £10,195-00 for the CTF.
For the General Bank Account it was £270-00.
2. HMRC Gift Aid Tax reclaim for year 2011 has been paid. £2,005-00 was claimed, £2,188-63 was paid, this included £183-83 'Transitional Relief'!
3. A generous Legacy Gift has been received from the estate of Peter 'Yogi' Johansen of £3,924-00. ( This was 5% of the Residue after all the main gifts had been catered for.) The stipulation was 'for the use of General Charitable Purposes of KHA'.
4. KHA have also been in receipt of £290-00 from the Harry Brisco estate from the sale of residual shares.
5. The committed cost of bursaries for the school year 2013 have been calculated at 20% of £165k being £11k per term, total £33k.
The school Year being Xmas Term 2012, Easter Term 2013 and Summer Term 2013.
6. Please note that payments for BBQ tickets for the 23rd June event are being paid into the KHA General Fund Bank account and will only be used for this event.
( £210-00 paid in to date, a further £162-00 currently being transferred from Paypal.)
7. £16K of NS&IB's were encashed and transferred to the CTF bank account.
( This now leaves £10k in NS&IB's)
8. A cheque for £100-00 has been received from a Mrs. Alison Kearney for the KHA CTF whose Father (Cyril Hope & Uncle Victor) were in Durham in the early 1920's this was as a thank you for the Archive searches done etc.
( This is now incorporated in Finance report no. 13 )
9. Following a visit to Bath by M.Kent formal accounts for years 2010 and 2011 are now complete and issued. My thanks to Andrew Morrison for his unstinting help in this matter.
It can be reported that the KHA financial accounts are fully up to date with the Charity Commission.
