Only three KHA members attended, Monty Montgomerie, Bryan Shaw and Mike Tadman who was also the quizmaster. The school was represented by around thirty students, with some from the American group, Head, Deputy Head and Kim Raccio who is leaving at Easter to take a post as Head of a High school in Brooklyn, New York.
There were four teams of eight made up mainly of students with KHA and staff members alternating between teams to advise and in some cases explain the question where rhyming slang was used. Three rounds of 15 questions, mainly general knowledge, with a smattering of school and local questions to educate if the answer was not known.
The answers were collated by two independent adjudicators to make sure of fair play. The trophy was awarded to the winning team and an explanation of its significance. A pleasant relaxing evening which was missed by many, so we hope to see you next year to join in the fun.
Thanks go to Nick Seaward, Mike Tadman and the catering staff of KHS.
