An already strong intermediate line-up was further bolstered by a number of helpful additions in the January transfer window… Mohammad ‘Chopper’ Sada arrived from Nigeria and proved to be a rock at the heart of the defence while Toni Lon did everything he could to further enhance the perception that all Spanish nationals are born with a natural ability to play football. Everyone played their part on an afternoon when, as the only unbeaten team and winning two of their three matches, Sheffield House deservedly retained their title of Intermediate House Football Cup Champions. The senior boys, who are very proud of their junior counterparts, were determined to do their best to emulate their success and win the senior competition.
The pressure was well and truly put onto the shoulders of their senior counterparts but these boys seem to love pressure, though, as they put together an unbeaten run, winning two of their three matches on their way to comprehensively winning the overall cup. Well done, boys. What a great year we’re having!!
