Harriet Atkinson, the school's Development Officer, gave a brief update on school news, including plans for the proposed new science and maths building and library extension, as well as an update on the general life of the school. It wasn't long before the stories and memories of Kingham were flowing and tales of school days recounted. The attendance of Tony Middleton and his camera meant that we are able to share some photographs of the day with you.
Those in attendance were: Richard Mullarkey (Plymouth and Sheffield, 1954-1963) and Elizabeth Mullarkey, Mark Mitchels (Sheffield, 1960-196) and Liz Mitchels, Mike Johansen (Plymouth and Greenwich, 1967-1973), Tony Middleton (Plymouth and Greenwich, 1963-1968) and Julie Middleton, Andrew Worsley (Plymouth and Clyde, 1955-1961) and Harriet Atkinson.
With thanks to Richard for making the arrangements, choosing such a great pub and for coordinating the event. We hope to make the East Anglia lunch an annual event so if you live in the region (Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk or Essex) and would like to come along to the next one, please contact Harriet in the Development Office to make sure you are on the mailing list. If anyone else would like to arrange a similar event for their region please do get in touch. We hope one day to have events taking place across the country and the world!
