Clyde Is Back 2Clyde House

From September 2014 we will be welcoming back a familiar name to the Hill. Clyde House will return to the Hill following an absence of a number of years. Clyde is now our Junior Boys' Day House for boys aged between 11 and 14.

Rugby 2 sl The 1st XV rugby season starts on Wednesday 11 September with the first fixture at home to Sibford. Kick off is at 2:30pm - if you are free and in the area, please come along to cheer on the team! Bacon rolls will be served. For more details or to RSVP please contact Harriet Atkinson.  

A major survey is currently being undertaken to help ensure that the contact details we have for you are correct. If you have not yet received one in the post, it may mean that the address we have for you is out of date.

The survey also gives you the opportunity to let us know how we can best serve you, the types of events that would be of interest and how we can communicate most effectively.

We are sad to report hearing news that Barbara Hargreaves died in January 2015 just short of her 100th birthday.

Barbara was a member of staff between 1937-1947 and employed as a housekeeper in Clyde, Plymouth and Sheffield.

Alan Emberson

We are saddened to learn of the death of Alan Emberson. Alan used to teach maths, lead the DoE scheme and drive the mini bus.

Final details for Sunday 30th Septembers' Rohilla Day Reunion

Closing Date for Bookings is the 19th September

Old Boys, Girls, Teachers and Staff are invited to join with us on this special day to remember the Rohilla, and those tragically lost all those years ago; by annually holding this reunion on the last Sunday each September on 'Rohilla Day'.

The day is not just for people who actually remember those who were lost it is also for any former student or member of staff from our unique club, 'those who lived or worked at the school', an opportunity to meet or reunite.
