A Quantum Physicist and a Vicar walk into a bar, not the beginning of a bad joke, rather the start of the marvelous one-act play, The God Particle. On Thursday evening, eager theologians and Octagon members, as well as some visitors completely filled the Hall.
Throughout the Lent term we have been raising money to fund a clean water project in the Tigray area of Ethiopia. The emphasis has been for as many members of the community to do whatever they can – “every little helps”, as somebody says!

MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE KINGHAM HILLIANS’ COMMITTEE
HELD ON SATURDAY 21 MARCH 2015 AT 10:30AM IN THE ARCHIVE ROOM
At 9:45am on Saturday 21 March, a small group of Hillians gathered at Daylesford Churchyard to lay a wreath at the Founder’s resting place, giving thanks in prayer.
We in the KHA are often asked "What actually does KHA do for the school?"
Maybe the following will help answer part of that question, which is actual financial support via the CTF.
Recently we received a message from the Chairman of the Board of Governors - "The Board of Governors wish to convey to the KHA the gratitude of the board for the ongoing generous support of Kingham pupils through the provision of bursaries".
Kingham Hill School is coming to terms with the death of Logan Renner, a pupil from Year 8. He died as a result of an injury caused by an air rifle at the family home during Sunday morning, 29 January.
Keeping Alive Our Memories
As you may know I sit on the KHA committee both as an observer for School Days and as Vice-Chair of the KHA. In these very different roles I have been acutely aware of the KHS decision in relation to alumni affairs and closely involved with the KHA response to it.
Whilst School Days operates independently 'independence' does not mean isolation, together with some other benefits it allows prompt progress in a dynamic world. The School Days website has an established role in its own right but it also has an important function in communicating current news and the good work both organisations do, because of the value our community places on it. Without the direct support and collaboration of both KHS and the KHA School Days would not be able to offer quite as much.
