Dear supporter of Kingham Hill School,

As you are aware, rugby at Kingham Hill is our major sport and our success and development over the last two years has been huge. We have had 18 boys selected for Oxfordshire County trials this year and with the Rugby World Cup 2011 only a few months away rugby will soon be the main sporting focus in the world.

We are pleased to announce that there will be 1st XV and 2nd XV fixtures throughout the season next year and we have an exciting fixtures list planned. Please 'click read' more to find out all about these exciting events.

Rugby_Appeal_2011Pres-Season Rugby

Our second annual pre-season training will start on Tue 30th August to Fri 2nd Sept. This pre-season is designed for boys who wish to play 1st XV rugby at Kingham Hill. We will spend four days based at school working through team training, fitness, team drills and match preparation. Food, nutrition and theory sessions will also be provided. We have a team of specialist coaches including England and County coaches and selectors.

Half Term Rugby Tour to France

With the Rugby World Cup in its final week the Kingham Hill 1st Team Rugby squad will be starting our first European rugby tour to France where we will suspend the ‘entente cordial’ with our famous rivals during matches, and resume it for the hospitality afterwards! We will tour the Bordeaux region and will be staying in the ancient city of Bordeaux throughout the tour. This will be an exciting opportunity for Kingham Hill School 1st XV to be represented on the international circuit. The tour dates are Sunday October 16th to Saturday October 22nd.

Rugby Sponsorship
