John Robarts Briggs

We have this evening received the following news from Simon Briggs, KH Committee member.

I am sure you will join with us on the School Days team in offering our sincere condolences to Simon and his family and reflect on the sad loss of John from our community.

I am writing to report the passing of my Brother, John Robarts Briggs on the 31st October. He would have been 82 on 21st Dec this year.
He was a Norwich/Bradford boy from 1943 to 1947. One of his main interests and activities was horse riding since father built and ran his own riding stables in East Wittering.
After father's death from war injuries all the saddles and reins were donated by mother for use by the Pony Club, since the Stables were commandeered by the War Office.
John known to his peers as Buggy because the master posting the list of new boys had rather bad handwriting!
There is no funeral since he has donated his remain to Medical Science.
